Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using sotocycles.com or purchasing from SOTO Cycles LLC. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About SOTO Cycles

SOTO Cycles LLC is a veteran-owned boutique bicycle retailer located at 26 Essex Street (Rear), Andover, MA 01810. We sell bicycles, components, accessories, and apparel, and provide repair and fitting services.

2. Products & Pricing

All products are subject to availability. Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, pricing errors may occasionally occur. If a pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before processing payment.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or cancel orders at our discretion. This includes orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors without prior written agreement.

3. Order Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is considered accepted when payment is confirmed and you receive an order confirmation email. For in-stock items, confirmation is typically immediate. For warehouse items, allow 1-2 business days for confirmation.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) only. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order total and fulfillment method. Free shipping is available on qualifying orders over $3,500. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. SOTO Cycles is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. Returns & Refunds

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase with original receipt under the following conditions:

• Bicycles: Must be in unridden, unassembled condition in original packaging. Bikes that have been ridden, assembled, or modified cannot be returned.
• Parts, components, and accessories: Must be unused, in original packaging with all tags attached.
• Apparel: Must be unworn and unwashed with original tags.
• Special orders and clearance items: All sales final — no returns or exchanges.

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or defective. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item.

6. Service Work

All service and repair work is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service for the specific work performed. This guarantee does not cover new damage, abuse, neglect, or issues unrelated to the service performed. Estimates are provided before work begins. Additional charges may apply if additional issues are discovered during service, with your prior approval.

7. Bike Fitting

Bike fitting services are provided based on your measurements and preferences at the time of the appointment. Results may vary. SOTO Cycles is not liable for discomfort or injury resulting from normal cycling activity. The complimentary basic fitting included with new bike purchases is for adjustment purposes only and does not constitute a professional medical fitting.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOTO CYCLES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Warranty

Products carry manufacturer warranties only. SOTO Cycles makes no additional warranties, express or implied, beyond what the manufacturer provides. Warranty claims must be directed through us — do not contact manufacturers directly. We will facilitate warranty service on your behalf.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our products and services shall be resolved in the courts of Essex County, Massachusetts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
