A bottom bracket built to outlast your frame - BB ALPHA features hardened stainless-steel races hand-built with grade-3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls, custom-engineered seals and precision dust covers, delivering up to 500% better moisture protection, while still providing ultra-low friction performance. The simplified spacer tube design and lighter 7075 aluminum cups ensure quick installation and a 10% weight reduction over previous generations. All CeramicSpeed BB ALPHA models are handbuilt in Denmark and backed by a lifetime warranty.
- ✓ Hardened Stainless Steel races offer exceptional corrosion protection and provide an optimal surface for the hand-built grade-3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls
- ✓ Internal ball bearing race has been redesigned to provide additional support, allowing the bearing to better handle pre-load
- ✓ Custom-made light contact seals with stainless steel covering the backside strike the perfect balance between efficiency and protection, while offering the trademark low-friction CeramicSpeed performance
- ✓ Inside the BB ALPHA, the bearings have been moved further out in the cup, allowing the incredibly stiff POM plastic dust covers to now sit flush with the outer edge of the cup, making it increasingly difficult for debris to penetrate the dust cover and contaminate the bearing
